Multi-instrumentalist, Arranger, Composer
Danny Nagy is a guitarist(Fret and Fretless), composer, and multi-instrumentalist born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and raised in Esztergom, Hungary. He discovered music at seven when he found his father’s old guitar and soon began studying jazz and fusion at Hungary’s top contemporary art school, where he earned the Musician of the Year Award.
After moving to the U.S., he studied with Chris Nix and Mel Deal in Nashville before earning dual degrees in Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production from Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, his teachers included David Fiuczynski, Mick Goodrick, Tim Miller, and others who shaped his modern fusion style.
Danny led the Big Stenk Band, a 16-piece jazz-fusion ensemble that performed across Boston and recorded the 88-minute album Meeting Point. He has also composed and produced music for Warner Chappell, ESPN, and various independent projects around the world.

Danny Nagy has had the pleasure of collaborating with a variety of talented musicians, including drummer Mark Guiliana and Jojo Mayer, guitarist David Fiuczynski, saxophonist Philipp Gerschlauer, bassist Mono Neon, and many others.
